烟囱式LED散热器的自然对流散热研究
Study on A Chimney LED Heat Sink Subject to Natural Convective Heat Transfer

Abstract
Radial heat sinks are studied frequently recent years.In this study, a general radial heat sink and a new radial heat with a cylinder which named chimney heat sink are investigated.We studied the two kinds of heat sinks by simulation subject to finite volume method(FVM).The effects of fin number and cylinder height on the thermal performance of heat sinks are investigated.The results indicate that cylinder height and fin number affect the thermal performance significantly.There exist an optimal fin number and cylinder height.Radial heat sinks with a cylinder can enhance heat dissipation due to its chimney effect.Optimizations of cylinder height and fin number were done in this work.The optimal chimney heat sink enhances the thermal performance up to 20% by comparing to the previous heat sink.关键词
