Effects of Ambient Temperature and Humidity on Nutrient Metabolism of Broilers and Its Regulation Mechanisms

Abstract
The thermal environment is an important factor affecting poultry production.Broilers are very sensitive to temperature,and humidity often cooperates with temperature to affect the body temperature regulation of broilers.This review summarized the effects of ambient temperature and humidity on the performance,neuro-endocrine functions and metabolisms of carbohydrate,lipid,protein and minerals of broilers and its regulation mechanisms,which could provide the theoretical basis for thermal environment control of broilers.关键词
