Analysis of and Incidence and Risk Factors of Postoperative Complications in Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury Treated by Decompressed Craniectomy

Abstract
Objective To investigate incidence and risk factors of postoperative complications in patients with traumatic brain injury treated by decompressed craniectomy.Methods Clinical data of 106 patients with traumatic brain injury undergoing decompressed craniectomy during January 2012 and May 2016 was retrospectively analyzed.Incidence rate of postoperative complications was summarized,and related risk factors were analyzed.Results Incidence rate of postoperative complications was 39.62％.Age,operation time,hematoma volume,bone flap size,hematoma location and Glasgow coma scale (GCS) scores at the time of admission were risk factors of complications in patients with traumatic brain injury after decompressed craniectomy (P ＜ 0.05,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The incidence rate of complications of patients with traumatic brain injury treated by decompressed craniectomy is high,and therefore clinicians should take corresponding treatments for risk factores in order to decrease incidence rate of postoperative complications.关键词
