The characteristics and production analysis of the pyrolysis of palm oil wastes

Abstract
This paper researches on the properties of palm oil wastes through observing the pyrolytic curve of TG and DTG of different heating rates, and the pyrolysis products were quantitatively analyzed by Py-GC/MS. The results show that the pyrolysis process of palm oil wastes can be divided into four distinct stages which are dehydration, pre-pyrolysis, primary pyrolysis and carbonization. During the process, the TG curve is in the grip of heating rate, and as it increases from 10℃/min to 50℃/min, the pyrolytic curves are gradually moving to the high-temperature zone, and their increasing rates become higher with the residence times become shorter at the same time, resulting the increase in residual mass. In the primal pyrolysis stages, the the weight loss rate accounts for 66%~71%. In the process of fast pyrolysis, 115 kinds of volatile substances were detected, according to the different chemical structure, mainly divided into 9 categories, among which the content of acids and hydrocarbon compounds account for 51.72%of volatile substances, and among the volatile substances, the largest number of types of product is the aromatic compounds which achieves up to 34. Acid compounds are classified as fatty acids of long-chain fatty acids.关键词
