Abstract
"Three Old Transformation" policy has been recently launched in Guangdong Province to reform the traditional state-dominant model and push forward the urban and rural redevelopment process by market. This paper starts with the neo-liberalism point of view, and analyzes the background of "Three Old Transformation" policy and its institutional arrangement. Taking Guangzhou as a case, this paper reviews its renewal practice since 2009, and summarizes its characteristics and challenges. It concludes with the policy implications to achieve a socially inclusive and sustainable redevelopment pattern.关键词
