Abstract

Upgnading the unit parameters and applying double-reheat technology are effective measures to reduce the gross coal consumption rate and realize energy conservation and emission reduction. Up to now, several double- reheat units with high parameters have been put into operation in China. Summing up the technical development and operation experiences of these units is of great significance to further upgrading the parameters of the coal-fired units and developing more efficient double-reheat units. This paper introduces the development of double-reheat technology at home and abroad, it focuses on the operation situation and existing problems of the double reheat units in Huaneng Anyuan Power Plant, Guodian Taizhou Power Plant and Huaneng Laiwu Power Plant. Combing with present technology development for clean coal-fired power units, the development direction and key technologies of China's ultra supercritical double-reheat turbine units were discussed. It points out that, in the future, the double-reheat turbine technology will definitely develop towards the direction of higher parameters, lower back pressure, more flexible operation and fully national production.
