摘要

Abstract

Based on the NCEP/NCAR, NCEP/DOE and ERA-Interim four-times daily reanalyzed data, including wind,temperature and surface pressure elements from 1981 to 2010,the atmospheric heat sources over the Tibetan Plateau are computed by the inverted arithmetic. This paper compares and analyzes the characteristics of the atmospheric heat sources distribution over the Tibetan Plateau from three data sets in different aspects. Furthermore,the long-term trend of regional averaged heat sources is discussed by Morlet wavelet method. Results show that :(1)the three reanalysis products all have revealed the similar pattern in the seasonal mean in the past 30 years. In summer,most parts of the Tibetan Plateau are covered by positive heat sources,while in winter the Tibetan Plateau is mostly covered by negative heat sources expect the north-west parts of the Plateau. In addition,ERA-Interim is closer to NCEP/NCAR than NCEP/DOE. (2)In the aspect of 30-year average of atmospheric heat sources over the Tibetan Plateau,the three reanalyzed data sets show that Tibetan Plateau is a significant heating pump. ERA-Interim is more alike to NCEP/NCAR in the distribution than NCEP/DOE while much closer to NCEP/DOE in the magnitude.(3)Long-term trend of the heat sources over the Tibetan Plateau from three sets show a significant agreement. The correlation coefficients of the heat source inter-monthly variation in 30 years among three data sets exceed 99% significant level. In the aspect of the inter-annual variation,NCEP/NCAR and NCEP/DOE are more resemble. The correlation coefficient between them is 0.88. ERA-Interim is slightly different from the two others. The correlation coefficients between ERA-Interim and NCEP/NCAR is 0.78 and with the another is 0.70.(4)The reasonability of ERA-Interim should be pay more attention to when analyzing the heat source condition of southern tip of the plateau.
