摘要

Abstract

The market and customers demand more and more LCD displays with wide range. FFS (Fringe Field Switch) technology appeared in 1996, with higher resolution than IPS(In-Plane Switching)technology. Through improving FFS technology in materials, designs and processes, BOE has formed ADS (Advanced Super Dimension Switch) technology, which has wide angle of views, high brightness and high aperture rate and so on. Although the ADS LCD module has many advantages, the module has a strong sensitivity at the same time. By the external force, it can produce light leakage phenomenon (also known as Mura phenomenon) easily, which may affect the client visual. In this paper, the effect of foam on the light leakage is studied. The deformation with high compression ratio and the high-thickness foam is larger than that of the conventional foam with same force (the theoretical calculation and the actual measurement are carried out at the same time). Light leakage will be reduced significantly with the foam mentioned above,which can not only improves the yield, but also improve the client's visual.
