摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the application values of using dual-energy scan in virtual images of pancreas with du-al-source CT. Methods:Fifty consecutive patients prospectively underwent abdominal DECT to assess the pancreas using a triphasic protocol consisting of true non-contrasted (TNC),arterial-phase (AP),portal-phase (PP) and delay-phase (DP) acquisi-tions. Dual-energy scan mode was used in the AP,PP and DP. VNC image of AP,PP and DP were generated by dual-energy Liver VNC respectively. The average CT value of pancreas and erector spinae, image noise,signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of pancreas, contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) of pancreas-to-erector spinae, the display of lesion, score of subjective diagnosis and radiation dose were compared among TNC,AP-VNC,PP-VNC,and DP-VNC. Results:The average CT value of pancreas and erector spinae was not significantly different among TNC,AP-VNC,PP-VNC,and DP-VNC (P>0.05). Image noise,SNR of pancreas,CNR of pancreas-to-erector spinae were significantly different among four groups (P<0.05). AP-VNC showed the highest SNR of pancreas. There was statistical difference in image quality between four groups of images (P<0.05),and all images received a score of more than 3. There had a similar detection performance in lesion between four groups of images. The scores of subjective diagnosis of four groups demonstrated that they four were appropriated to diagnosis. Conclusions:The image quality of VNC images is lower than TNC images, but it could meet the demand of clinical diagnosis. And VNC image has potential clinical application value,so as to reduce the radiation dose of patient.关键词
