Abstract
The new friction stir processing technology was applied for aviation 7075 alloy,the microstructure evolution of solid solution and aging state 7075 alloy during friction stir processing was studied,and the microstructure transformation and deformation mechanism were discussed.The results show that the grain size of the RD surface of the solid solution 7075 alloy is a long strip,and the TD plane can be seen clearly in the fibrous tissue,while the grain size of the ND surface is coarse and the grain size is not uniform.The grain size of the aged 7075 alloy on the RD and TD surfaces is characterized by the fiber distribution,and the grain size of the alloy is obviously different from that of the ND surface.The thermal mechanical affected zone of solid solution and aging state 7075 alloy in advancing side upper microstructure are visible to flow up signs,the central fibrous and recrystallization grain boundaries between microstructure are almost rectangular,the lower microstructure turns upwards due to extrusion function of the nugget zone.Similar to the forward side,there are also grains that twist upwardly in the lower part of the back side,but there is no obvious inflection point,the deformation is relatively more moderate.关键词
