摘要

Abstract

The energy balancing technologies applied in vehicle battery pack was an important methodology to resolve the performance inconsistency issue existing among each individual battery cell,and the active bidirectional balancing technology based on fly-back transformer was the leading study direction followed by many researchers in the world because of its high energy conversion efficiency.Texas Instruments company's integrated IC with fly-back transformer architecture was selected to develop a controls system prototype both in hardware and software to implement active bidirectional balancing technologies oriented to battery management system on electrical vehicles.A testing system platform was established,and some comparison tests were completed.The data show that this technical solution can increase the energy capacity of battery pack,and the battery pack usage lifetime can be extended effectively.In addition,this system showed great benefits on safety and reliability.
