Abstract
Objective To explore the value of mitral valvuloplasty and mitral valve replacement in the treatment of mitral valve disease. Methods 90 patients with mitral valve disease treated at our hospital from April,2015 to August,2016 were selected and divided into a valvuloplasty group and a replacement group,45 for each group. The valvuloplasty group were treated by mitral valvuloplasty and the replacement group mitral valve replacement. The surgical conditions, cardiac function indicators, and complications were compared between these two groups. Results The blood transfusion volume 24 h after the operation was lower, the hospital stay was shorter, and the left ventricular ejection function (LVEF),cardiothoracic ratio, left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD),and left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD) were higher in the valvuloplasty group than in the replacement group, with statistical differences (all P < 0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications was significantly lower in the valvuloplasty group than in the replacement group (2.22% vs.17.78%),with a statistical difference (P < 0.05).Conclusions Mitral valvuloplasty for mitral valve disease is more effective than mitral valve replacement and can improve cardiac function, reduce postoperative blood transfusion volume, shorten treatment time, and decrease the incidence of complications.关键词
