Abstract
Objective To investigate the survival rate and the retention rate of laryngeal function of different treatment methods for patients with middle and advanced laryngeal cancer. Methods 58 patients with middle and advanced laryngeal cancer in our hospital were selected as the research object, and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the different surgical methods. The patients in the control group were treated with total laryngectomy, while the patients in the observation group were treated with partial laryngectomy. The survival rate, the pronunciation, and the recovery of laryngeal function were compared between the two groups. Results There were 25 cases (69.44%) of class IV pronunciation effect and 9 cases (25%) of class III pronunciation effect in the observation group, significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).F0,HNR,Shimmer,Jitter,and other acoustic parameters in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, which suggested better voice quality in the observation group, with statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).The 1,3,5-year survival rates of the observation group were 86.1%,50.0%,13.9%,significantly higher than 68.2%,31.8%,4.5% of the control group, with statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with total laryngectomy, partial laryngectomy is more targeted, can effectively reduce the damage caused by the operation of the larynx,to maximize the preservation of laryngeal function, with good effect, worthy of promotion.关键词
