Interferometric optical temperature sensor based on spherical structure and few-mode fiber

Abstract
An optical fiber sensor based on spherical structure and few mode fiber(FMF) is proposed.This interferometer is formed by sandwiching a segment of few mode fiber(FMF) between a segment of single mode fiber (SMF) and a spherical structure which is made by fiber fusion splicer.Experimentally,with the increase of temperature,the two interference valleys of the interferometer move 1.25nm and 1.05nm individually to the direction of long wavelength,and in the temperature range of 30 ℃~70 ℃,the linear goodness of fits are 0.991 and 0.998,the temperature sensitivitys are 0.030nm/℃ and 0.035nm/℃.关键词
