基于DP-QPSK调制器的光域微波矢量信号发生器
Microwave vector signal photonic generator based on a DP-QPSK modulator
摘要
Abstract
A novel photonic approach to generate microwave vector signal using a dual-polarization quadrature phase-shift keying (DP-QPSK) modulator is proposed.One of the QPSK modulator in the DP-QPSK modulator is driven by a single-frequency microwave signal,and the other QPSK modulator which double orthogonal polarization with the former is driven by I/Q data streams.By properly setting the biases,a single-sideband carrier suppressed (SSB-CS) signal and a baseband vector signal carried by the optical carrier are generated.The experiment confirms that it can be generated a 1.25Gbaud vector signal by the DP-QPSK modulator at 10.5GHz.关键词
