Abstract
Objective:To observed the expression of SCD1 and explore its correlation with cell proliferation and metastasis in gastric cancer.Methods:The gastric cancer and para-cancerous tissues from 32 cases was collected.The expression of SCD1 was detected by qPCR.The HCG-27 cell lines with stable over-expression of SCD1 were established.The proliferation and invasion abilities of cells were detected by MTT and Transwell assay,respectively.The expression of molecule related epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)related proteins such as E-cadherin,β-catenin and N-cadherin were determined by western blotting.Results:SCD 1 mRNA expression was significantly higher in gastric cancer tissues than that in para-cancerous tissues (P＜ 0.05).The proliferation and invasion abilities of SCD1-interfered HCG-27 cells were notably decreased (P＜ 0.05).The expression of E-cadherin was up-regulated,while β-catenin and N-cadherin expressions were down-regulated (P＜0.05).Conclusion:Over-expression of SCD1 could promote the proliferation and metastasis of gastric cancer cells and the EMT process.关键词
