摘要

Abstract

The bridge pile foundation occupies part section of the water,which in practical use generates an impact force on the pier or exposes pile foundation under the affection of high sediment flow and then causes bridge pile foundation erosion.The erosion of the bridge foundation is a complicated process involving the fluidstructure coupling.By using the standard k-ε model and discrete phase model in the FLUENT software,this study conducted the three-dimensional numerical simulation for the bridge pile foundation erosion.The coefficients in the model were modified and the erosion patterns were analyzed under different conditions combined with the situation of bridge erosion in real life.The results showed that the erosion of bridge pile cap and foundation is mainly distributed on the surface of the pile cap and the joints between the front piles and abutment.It finds out that the faster the fluid moves and the larger the particles are,the greater the erosion rate is.
