摘要

Abstract

To explore the pavement performance and construction characteristics of warm mix asphalt mixture,this paper studied the differences and characteristics between warm mix asphalt and asphalt mixture.The viscosity of the asphalt was improved by physical or chemical methods,namely,warm mix asphalt was obtained in accordance with the same proportion of asphalt mixture and raw materials.The test results showed that the warm mix asphalt mixture has better road performance and workability,and its performance can be effectively guaranteed when there is temperature drop of 30 ℃.Through the comparison with the test results of hot mix construction,it is found that the former has a more stable compaction interval and compaction time.The warm mix asphalt concrete has superior material characteristics,construction performance and pavement performance,which meets the demand of the paving construction and use,making the construction possible under low temperature without poisonous gas emission and complex heat preservation process induced by hot mix asphalt concrete construction.
