河南农村成年人身体脂肪率与高血压的关系
Association of body fat percentage and hypertension in adults from rural areas of Henan Province

Abstract
Aim:To explore the association of body fat percentage and hypertension in the adults from Henan rural ar -eas.Methods:Questionnaire survey was applied to collect the social demographic characteristics , life habits and the fami-ly history of hypertension in 9980 participants(aged 35-74 years) from the rural areas of Henan Province .The electronic sphygmomanometer was used to measure the blood pressure , and instrument based on bioelectric impedance analysis was a-dopted to obtain measurement of body fat percentage .Results:The prevalence ( standardized prevalence ) of hypertension was 33.99%(29.13%) in general population, 35.45%(31.96%) in males and 33.19%(27.85%) in females, and that of males was higher than females (P=0.023).The median(P25 -P75) of body fat percentage was 31.8%(26.6%-35.7%),25.1%(21.8%-28.0%) and 34.5%(31.7%-37.1%) in the general population, males and females, re-spectively, and that of females was higher than males (Z=71.700,P<0.001) .The participants were allocated into 4 groups according to the quartiles of body fat percentage;Q1 group(<P25), Q2 group(P25 -), Q3 group(P50 -) and Q4 group(≥P75).Compared with those of Q1 group, the prevalence of hypertension increased in Q2, Q3 and Q4 group(P<0.001), adjusted OR(95%CI) was 1.71(1.48-1.97), 2.69 (2.25-3.22), 4.34(3.60-5.23), respectively.The similar association was found in males and females .Conclusion:The prevalence of hypertension is higher in adults from ru-ral areas of Henan Province , and body fat percentage is strongly associated with hypertension .关键词
