Influence of Self-efficacy and Family Functioning on Resilience of Nursing Undergraduates

Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of self-efficacy and family functioning on the resilience in nursing undergraduates. Methods General Self-Efficacy Scales, Family APGAR Index and Connor-Davison Resilience Scale were used to analyze the influence of self-efficacy and family functioning on the resilience of 481 nursing undergraduates. Two-way ANOVA and Simple Effect Test were used to explore the main effect and interaction between self-efficacy and family function on the psychological elasticity of nursing undergraduates. Results The mean score of resilience was 64.59 ±6.05 and that of self-efficacy and family functioning 28.46±5.46 and 5.56±2.74 respectively. Self-efficacy and family functioning both played a significant role on the effect of resilience. The main effect of self-efficacy and family functioning was significantly different (F=57.77, P<0.001; F=9.73, P<0.001), and there was significant interaction in self-efficacy and family functioning ( F=5.50,P<0.001). Simple effect analysis indicated that self-efficacy level under different family functioning exerted influence on the resilience ( P<0.001), and the resilience score was statistical different in various family functioning under moderate level self-efficacy (P<0.001). Conclusion Both self-efficacy and family functioning have effect on the resilience in nursing undergraduates and medical staff should take targeted measures to improve their resilience.关键词
