CATCH跌倒管理模型在老年住院患者跌倒预防管理中的应用
Application of CATCH Fall Management Model in Elderly Patients

Abstract
Objective To explore the application and effect of CATCH fall management model for elderly patients. Methods Elderly hospitalized patients from January to December 2015 were chosen as control group and those from January to December 2016 as experiment group. CATCH fall management model was applied in experiment group. The incidence of falls and the injuries caused by falls were compared between two groups. Results The incidence of falls in experiment group was 0.47%, which was significantly lower than that of control group (2.05%) (P<0.05) and the injuries were less serious in experiment group than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion CATCH fall management model can reduce the incidence of falls and the injuries caused by falls.关键词
