Abstract
With the increasing aging of the population,the problem of going downstairs for the elderly in old multifloor residential buildings has become more conspicuous.Difficulties encountered in installing elevators in old multi-floor residential buildings are analyzed in the paper based on first-tier cities' policy on installing elevators in existing residential buildings.Moreover,the paper compares stair lifting devices available in the market,and initiates new methods for the third and fourth tier cities to solve such problems.关键词
