Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Sanjie Xiaoying decoction on Graves's disease,and its effect on the thyroid gland size and thyrotropin receptor antibodies(TRAb). Methods:There were 90 patients with Graves disease randomly divided into the treatment group and control group ,45 cases in each group. Both groups were given western medicine,and treatment group was also given Sanjie Xiaoyin. The treatment lasted for 12 weeks,and the clinical efficacy,thyroid gland size and TRAb changes were observed. Results:The effective rate in the treatment group and control group were 86.7％ and 64.5％,respectively,and there is significant difference between two groups(χ2=13.206,P=0.027). After the treatment,FT3,FT4 and thyroid gland size showed significant difference in both groups(P<0.05),and also there were difference between the two groups(P<0.05). In the treatment group TRAb was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05), while in the control group there was no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:Western medicine com-bined with Sanjie Xiaoying decoction could relieve clinical symptoms and body signs ,and reduce goiter size , for Sanjie Xiaoying decoction could possibly reduce the level of TRAb.关键词
