Abstract

The overall rebound ratio of grade C20-C30 ordinary dry or wet shotcrete tor the side walls and top arch of underground structures are generally about 20% to 30%,and the strength of dry shotcrete is often unqualified.The in-situ spraying tests of such shotcrete in four projects of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway,Baihetan Hydropower Station,Guolangqiao Hydropower Station and Chengdu Subway Line 18 show that,by replacing 10% of cement with HB7-2 inorganic nano admixture developed by Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co.,the rebound ratios of C20-C30 ordinary dry or wet shotcrete can be reduced by 52% to 72% and achieve the level of less than 10%,the maximum spayed thickness in one-pass can reached 30 cm,the initial strength within 24 h is greatly increased,and the 28 d compressive strength is increased by more than 20%.The application of this nano admixture can save at least 0.7 h in each excavation and supporting cycle,therefore,the quality,safety and cost of underground construction can be overall improved.
