On Comprehensive Evaluation System for Mixed Express and Slow Train Operation of Urban Rail Transit

Abstract
To meet the demand of long-distance passenger flow,the mixed operation of express and slow urban rail transit trains are coming into being in China.The mixed express/slow train operation is significantly different from the traditional rail transit system and a new objective and scientific evaluation system is required to evaluate its operational performance for pre-project decision making.According to the characteristics of the express/slow train operation,this paper puts forward its major influencing factors,including project investment,number of vehicles,travel time and operational cost;then Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to build the comprehensive evaluation index system for express/slow train operation.If the comprehensive evaluation value is greater than zero,it indicates better social benefit of the express/slow train operation;otherwise,further measures need to be taken to optimize the program and repeat argumentation of operational mode.关键词
