摘要

Abstract

The effects of three different phytohormones on cell growth and astaxanthin production of Phaffia rhodozyma cultured in baffled flasks (high dissolved oxygen)were studied.The results showed that significant improvements in cell growth and astaxanthin yield were achieved in the baffled flasks.The optimal phytohormone was determined as 6-benzyl adenine (6-BA)and its optimized adding concentration and time were 0.25 mg/L at 0 h.The highest astaxanthin concentration of 58.02 mg/L and the maximum astaxanthin yield of 3.512 mg/g were achieved,which were 24.56% and 10.65% higher than the control group,respectively.This in-dicated that adding phytohormone 6-BA was beneficial to improve astaxanthin accumulation,which established the foundation for large-scale high-density astaxanthin production of P .rhodozyma.
