Spatial and Temporal Distribution Model of Electric Vehicle Charging Demand

Abstract
The prediction of the spatial and temporal distribution of electric vehicle (EV)'s charging demands has great influence on the response to the situation where EVs are connected to gird in large scale.The existing studies,however,fails to describe accurately the mathematical model for EVs that contains the changes of location and state of charge (SOC)in the drive.In order to simulate the dynamic changing process of EV's traffic and charging demands,a practical demand of grid scheduling to mend the existing micro traffic model was considered,and the power consumptions of EV in different scenarios by using software Cruise were calculated.Then,a dynamical evolution model for the spatial and temporal distribution of EV's charging demands based on Agent-cellular automata (CA) was proposed.Subsequently,a case study consisting of a 54-node distribution system and a 25-node traffic network system shows that the proposed method is able to the spatial and temporal EVs charging demand at rapid charging station and provide theoretical foundation for load guiding strategy of EVs.关键词
