Study on Fiber Ultrasonic Location Technology of Partial Discharge in Transformer Based on Wavelength Division Multiplexing/Time-Division Multiplexing Technology

Abstract
Compared with piezoelectric transducers,fiber Bragg grating (FBG) has the advantages of high sensitivity and good anti-interference performance for the ultrasonic signal detection of partial discharge(PD) in transformer,but relevant methods of expanding PD detection range in transformer by multi-point FBG multiplexing technology have not been considered so far.Therefore,this paper proposed an fiber ultrasonic location technology of PD in transformer based on multi-point FBG sensors,which is achieved by wavelength and time division multiplexing technology.Position recognition of FBG sensors can be realized through the wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) technology,and the problem that single FBG cannot meet the full range detection of PD in transformer can be solved by time-division multiplexing(TDM) technology.A testing platform of partial discharge in transformer oil based on multi-point FBG ultrasonic sensing system was established,detection results of different FBG measuring points for the ultrasonic generated by PD in the oil were compared,and the ultrasonic location experiment based on multi-point FBG of same PD source in the oil was carried out.The results show that:The detection band of different FBG measuring points is close,and consistency of different FBG sensors is satisfied.Semi-distributed measurement of PD signal in transformer oil can realize by multi-point FBG,and based on the multi-point FBG measurement results,location of the PD source can be realized by grid search algorithm.关键词
