The Clinical Application of the Medial Upper Arm Flap in the Repair of Traumatic Nasal Defect

Abstract
Objective To explore the application of medial upper arm flap in reconstruction of nasal defect after trauma. Methods From Apri 2008 to March 2015,19 cases of patients with nasal alar defects were treated with medial upper arm pedicle flap, medial upper arm skin tube and medial upper arm prefabricated flap for regular follow-up to observe survival status, shape after nasal repair, nasal skin color and texture and donor site scars. Results After 1-3 years followed up,all the grafts survived completely.The color and texture of the skin flap were close to that of the skin, and the nasal shape was satisfactory. Conclusion The medial flap of the upper arm is rich in blood supply and flexible in transfer.The postoperative appearance is not bloated and natural and beautiful.关键词
