Seasonal Variations of Polyphenols of Magnolia sieboldii K. Koch

摘要

Abstract

Through the determination of polyphenols content in different species and the leaves of Magnolia sieboldii,the seasonal variation of M. sieboldii polyphenols was speculated;The free phenol,phenol and phenol of M. sieboldii leaves with different heights in different months were determined qualitatively and quantitatively by using HPLC;Antioxidation of polyphenols was determined by UV spectrophotometry. The results show that the leaves of M. sieboldii contains chlorogenic acid and p-coumaric acid,contains caffeic acid,p-coumaric acid and two kinds of combined phenol;containing a phenol and p-coumaric acid esterification. Beginning in the early May,with the free phenol development of the Magnolia sieboldii leaf increased gradually,reached the highest in the early July, then decreased;from early May to late October until the deciduous leaf, showing an overall development with the content of esterified leaves gradually increased by law;from early May to late October deciduous leaf so far,the leaves of Magnolia sieboldii combined phenol presents the change regularity of the non leaf antioxidant;From May to August,antioxidant activity was the weakest in May,and then gradually increased, was the highest on August, antioxidant activity decreased gradually from August to October. The antioxidant activity and polyphenol content of Magnolia sieboldii has correlation. The best collection period for Magnolia sieboldii is determined in the early October by observing the law.
