Review of Correcting and Annotating of Treatise on Cold Damage Disease
摘要
Abstract
Correcting and Annotating of Treatise on Cold Damage Disease is compiled by CHEN Xunzhai who is a traditional Chinese physician during the Republic of China era as a result of referencing the different schools of thought and combining with his years of studying Treatise on Cold Damage Disease. This book consists of the preface and text parts, which contains the important contents of General Introduction of Cold Damage Disease, Six-meridian, Pulse Methods, and Medical Dosage in the preface part and ten articles in the text part. The preface illustrates the academic viewpoints of CHEN Xunzhai as follows: 1) The cold damage disease in the Treatise on Cold Damage Disease are discussed in broad sense; 2) The six channels which is the synonym of exterior and interior as well as deficiency and excess for diseases and syndromes dominate the numerous diseases; 3) The pulse methods created by ZHANG Zhongjing are corresponding with the eight principal syndromes; 4) The most suitable medical dosage is decided by the points of CHEN Xiuyuan and XU Lingtai who are also the traditional Chinese physicians. In the text of this book, the annotations are made in the light of the clause sequence or after correcting the treatise. The crucial characteristic of this book is emphasis of the connection between the medical theories and clinical practices.关键词
