Effects of Compound Rhizoma Curcumae Powder on cAMP-PKA Signaling Pathway and MMP-2, TIMP-2 Expression in Patients with Endometriosis

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of Compound Rhizoma Curcumae powder on cAMP-PKA signaling pathway and expressions of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in patients with endometriosis.Method:86 cases were randomly divided into two groups.In the control group,43 cases were treated with Gestrinone Capsules and surgery.The experimental group of 43 cases was given the same surgical treatment and Compound Rhizoma Curcumae Powder.The treatment course was 3 months.The levels of CA125,CA199,ectopic endometrium and eutopic endometrium in the two groups before and after treatment were observed,and the changes of MMP-2 and MMP-2 protein,TIMP-2 protein and TIMP-2 protein in ectopic endometrium were observed of the groups.The results were analyzed by using statistical software SPSS 19.0.Results:Compared with that before treatment,the levels of serum CA125 and CA 199 in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment;compared with that of the control group,the serum levels of CA125 and CA199 in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group.The expression of cyclinD in ectopic endometrium of experimental group was significantly lower than that of control group.The expression of MMP-2 and MMP-2 in ectopic endometrium of experimental group was significantly lower than that of control group (mRNA).The expression of P16,TIMP-2 and TIMP-2 in ectopic endometrium of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group (mRNA).All the results were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:Compound Rhizoma Curcumae Powder can effectively improve the expression of TIMP-2 and TIMP-2 protein in ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis by regulating cAMP-PKA signaling pathway,and it also can reduce the expression level of MMP-2 and MMP-2 protein in mRNA.关键词
