摘要

Abstract

Water level fluctuation is the important factor which influences the reservoir bank slope stability.In order to study homogeneous loess bank slope instability phenomena when the water level changes,different slope models are made to test the variation of the displacement,shear strength,hydraulic head,and the different failure models.Results show that the outside water level rise will cause soil soften,and settlement increased.If the slope is steep,the bank collapse phenomenon is much serious.When the water drawdown,the soil shear strength is drawdown,and the variation is even more obvious than the changes when the water rise,and in this stage the slope deformation is mainly surface landslide.The water's soften effect made the soil's strength decreased,and the settlement deformation increased.When the water draws down roughly,there is big difference of the pure water pressure between the inside and outside of the slope,and that's the main reason of the slipping.
