Research Progresses on Grafting Techniques in Arabidopsis

摘要

Abstract

The grafting techniques in model plant Arabidopsis are widely used in a series of researches including plant hormone translocation,signal transduction,nutrition translocation,small RNA translocation,plant pathology,growth and development.Here,the recent progresses and application of grafting techniques in A rabidopsis thaliana were reviewed.The characteristics and operating procedures of inflorescence grafting,hypocotyl grafting with collar,hypocotyl grafting in the slant medium,cotyledon removing grafting and mature plant grafting were summarized.Meanwhile,the advantages and disadvantages of these grafting techniques were also described.The review may provide information for researchers in quickly selecting the appropriate grafting method for different research purposes.
