Survey of status quo and influencing factors of family members'nursing burden on community oldest old

Abstract
Objective:To understand the status quo of family members'nursing burden on the oldest old in the community and to analyze its influencing factors.Methods:A total of 210 elderly people and 210 their family ca-reers were extracted by convenient sampling method from a community in Fuzhou City.The Barthel Index Scale and Care Burden Scale were used for investigation.Results:The total score of family member's nursing burden on the oldest old in the community was(30.2±12.5),which was on the moderate burden level.The monthly in-come of the family caregivers,whether lived with the elderly,the self care ability of the elderly and their self conscious health status were the influencing factors.Conclusions:The nursing burden of the elderly's family car-egiver was heavy and was affected by factors from both the family member and the elderly.关键词
