摘要

Abstract

Improving the quality of the narrow deep groove is a complex technique in machi-ning the rotor of the vane pump.The experiments of dry grinding the narrow deep groove were conducted with a single layer electroplated carbon boron nitride (CBN) wheel to investigate the integrity of the ground surface.From the experiment results,the surface topography of the groove profile,roughness value and texture of the subsurface of groove were analyzed for stud-ying the integrity of the ground surface.The results show that increasing the cutting speed and decreasing the depth of cut were helpful to improve the groove marks and roughness.With the cutting speed going up,little change of morphology was generated on the groove surface,while the roughness value of the groove profile was enlarged.The thermal damage were avoided in grinding process.A good surface integrity of narrow deep groove could be obtained with the creep narrow deep dry grinding.
