摘要

Abstract

The up-conversion of rare earth ions refers to the non-linear optical phenomena that convert two or more low-energy photons into a high-energy photon, thereby converting the infrared light in the low energy region of the solar spectrum into light that can be used in the spectral high energy region. This paper explores NaYF4: Yb, Tm materials with upconversion properties. The powders with different concentrations of Yb and Tm were prepared by hydrothermal method, and the samples were all pureβ-NaYF4 phase with complete morphology, uniform size and good dispersion. Under the excitation of 1550 nm, the samples can be detected multiple upconversion emission peaks, and when the concentration of Tm3+ ions is 3%, the intensity of each emission peak of the samples is maximized.This work is of great significance for enhancing progressively the performance of NaYF4:Yb, Tm powders.
