摘要

Abstract

Silver dioxide cathodes and Zinc anodes were prepared though different polarization systems.The electrodes were characterized by constant current polarization.Manually activate cells and automatically activate batteries formed from the electrodes above mentioned were tested.SEM and chemical analysis were conducted to characterize the cathode materials.The results indicate that the cathode polarization is the principal cause of voltage delay.And the cathodes charged at gradient current descending from 9 mA/cm2 through 6 mA/cm2 to 3 mA/cm2were suitable for quick-activating silver/zinc reserve battery.
