摘要

Abstract

An energy management strategy based on fuzzy logic of a battery and ultra-capacitor composite power systems for mobile robots was presented.The fuzzy control approach was proposed to exploit the high energy density of batteries and the high power density of ultra-capacitors.With the strategy,instantaneous large power could be provided by ultra-capacitors,while smooth power could be provided by batteries for long time.A model of composite power systems was established for simulation study.The simulation result shows that our strategy can effectively improve the performance of mobile robots and extend the lifetime of batteries.
