摘要

Abstract

As power consumption increasing in area of Eastern China, it is urgent and necessary to study and develop UHVDC transmission technology above 10000MW. This paper systematically presents research of 6250A UHVDC converter valve, the heart of UHVDC project. By adjusting structure and electron irradiation energy, huge current capacity thyristor is developed and optimization method of thyristor is initially presented. Factors affecting shutoff overshoot voltage and energy loss are analyzed and optimized values of damping capacity and resistance are ascertained, resulting in less thyristor shutoff loss when shutoff overshoot voltage is under safe value. Equivalent circuit model of saturated reactor is built up, and thermal characteristics of low-loss iron core is simulated. Results show that loss and hot spot temperature of saturated reactor are not obviously increased when current rises.Then, by building up fluid-solid coupling model, thermal characteristics of electrical connecter are analyzed, and heat radiation problem in electrical connecter in limited space is solved by brilliantly designing circuit bus with water route.Finally, type test on the developed ±800kV/6250A converter valve is carried out and results indicate that all indexes are premium and completely meet project requirement.
