摘要

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to investigate the optimal carbon and nitrogen source of Clostridium butyricum CBM01 and its tolerance to gastrointestinal tract. The reinforced clostridial medium ( RCM ) was used to optimize the carbon and nitrogen sources of Clostridium butyricum CBM01 with the method of control?ling variables, and the tolerance of Clostridium butyricum CBM01 to gastrointestinal tract was also determined. The results showed as follows:1) the best carbon source was glucose and the best nitrogen source was peptone for Clostridium butyricum CBM01; 2) the survival rates of of Clostridium butyricum CBM01 in the artificial gastric juice and artificial intestinal juice for 3 h were at 90.33% and 92.09%, respectively;3) the highest tol?erable concentration of Clostridium butyricum CBM01 to bile salt was 0.40%. Altogether, as Clostridium bu?tyricum CBM01 exerts great characteristics to tolerate gastrointestinal environments it can be considered as an i?deal potential probiotic strain for further researching.
