摘要

Abstract

Sixty mice were randomized into 4 groups, normal control, low-, intermediate- and high-dose of Radix pseudostellariae stem and leaf polysaccharides (PRSLP) groups, consisting of 15 mice each. Mice from PRSLP groups were administered by gavage with RPSLP at doses of 50, 100 and 200 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 for 14 d, which was replaced with 0.2 mL distilled water for the normal control. Then immune organ index was assayed and contents of immunoglobulin and complement in serum of mice were detected. The results showed that compared with the normal control group, the spleen index of high-dose group was significantly increased ( P<0.05), and the thymus index was significantly decreased (P<0.05). IgA level in low- and intermediate-dose groups were signifi-cantly increased ( P<0.05) . IgM content in low-dose group was significantly increased ( P<0.05) , but it was significantly decreased in high-dose group (P<0.05). C3 levels in intermediate- and high-dose groups increased significantly (P<0.05). Contents of IgG and C4 were not significantly different among all groups ( P>0.05) . It is concluded that RPSLP promotes the development of immune organ and enhances immunity in mice at certain dose.
