Research on horizontal load bearing capacity of concrete-filled square steel tubular frame-thin steel plate shear walls structure with cross stiffeners

Abstract
In order to study the seismic behavior and horizontal load bearing capacity of concrete-filled square steel tubular frame-thin steel plate shear walls structure with cross stiffeners,quasi-static test was conducted on one 1 ∶ 3 scaled one-bay two-story concrete-filled square steel tubular frame-thin steel plate shear walls with cross stiffeners.Therefore,the failure pattern,load-displacement hysteretic curve,skeleton curve,the characteristic load and displacement values were obtained.The nonlinear analytical analysis was conducted by using the finite element software ABAQUS.The seismic behavior,mechanical mechanism and failure mechanism of the concrete-filled square steel tubular frame-thin steel plate shear walls with cross stiffeners were studied.Based on the experimental,numerical results and theoretical investigation,the calculating formulae of horizontal load bearing capacity of the concrete-filled square steel tubular frame-thin steel plate shear walls with cross stiffeners were proposed.The results of the formulae were compared with those of the experiment and finite element analysis.The results show that the concrete-filled square steel tubular frame-thin steel plate shear walls with cross stiffeners have considerable horizontal load bearing capacity,initial stiffness and favorable ductility and energy dissipation ability.The results of calculating formulae of horizontal load bearing capacity agree well with the results of experiment and finite element analysis.关键词
