Failure structure characteristics of strata with upper thin and lower thick strata in ultra-close coal seams with simultaneous mining and relationship between shield and surrounding rock

Abstract
In order to reveal the failure characteristics of strata with upper thin and lower thick strata in ultra-close coal seams with simultaneous mining and to guarantee the roof stability of the lower thick coal seam, the broken laws of overlying strata with upper thin and lower thick strata in ultra-close coal seams with simultaneous mining are studied based on the geological conditions of ultra-close coal seams in the first mining face of the 11thmining section of Quandian coal mine by physical simulation studies. Analysis results are as list: the overlying strata of lower thick coal seams from top to bottom are composed of fracture blocks, fragments, rupture mass, complete strata and so on; the relationship model of support-surrounding rock in upper thin and lower thick ultra-close coal seams with simultaneous mining is developed. The interaction system is consisted of support-combination suspension girder structure – loose structure – articulated roof structure and the calculation formula of support working re-sistance is derived. The supporting resistance of shields in No.21-11070 fully mechanized caving mining working face in Quandian coal mine is calculated which provides theoretical basis for the shield selec-tion. The shield support resistance measured in the mining face is close to theoretical calculation results. It can provide a theoretical basis of the roof control under similar conditions.关键词
