Abstract
Geranium (Pelargonium hortorum)is a common herbaceous flower in urban landscape with a high ornamental and medicinal value. In recent years,serious leaf spot appears in Geranium of Dalian. Therefore, it is imperative to find out the pathogenesis and provide theoretical basis for the disease prevention. To identify the pathogens of the leaf spot of Geranium,several methods were used such as isolation pathogens from the leaf spot sample,pathogenicity determination of the isolated strain,morphological and molecular biological evalua-tion,etc. The results show that Acremonium alternatum and Alternaria compacta are two kinds of pathogens that lead to the Geranium leaf spot in Dalian. So far,Acremonium alternatum of the Geranium leaf disease is rarely reported.关键词
