Abstract
In order to enhance the signal intensity and fault location precision in positioning of leaky coaxial cable fault, the linear frequency modulation pulse compression technology applied in positioning of communication leaky coaxial cable fault is proposed in this paper. The basic principle of linear frequency modulation pulse compression technology and the spectrum characteristics of linear frequency modulation signals are introduced,the design and implementation of the matched filter and window function are described,and the effect of pulse compression parameters on echo signals are analyzed to construct the com-munication leaky coaxial cable fault location detection system for testing GSM-R leaky coaxial cables. The experimental results show that the method of the linear frequency modulation pulse compression can improve the detection accuracy of leaky coaxial cable fault compared to the conventional pulse detection method,the effect reaches best when the carrier frequency is close to the operating frequency of GSM-R,and the leaky coaxial cable fault detection effect is obviously improved at the scene of high-speed railway tunnel leaky coaxial cable fault detection.关键词
