Study on the In Vitro and In Vivo Digestibility of Hermetia Illucen Larvae for Jian Carp and Mirror Carp

Abstract
In order to evaluate the feasibility of hermetia illucen larvae as feed ingredients for carp,this experiment measured the in vitro and in vivo digestibility of hermetia illucen larvae for carp.In vitro experiment,crude enzyme of intestinal tract as digestive enzyme source,by means of incubation in vitro digestibility,compared with fish meal and tenebrio molier,the digestibility of hermetia illucen larvae for juvenile Jian carp was tested.The results showed that the dry matter digestibility coefficient in vitro of hermetia illucen larvae (29.93 %) was no different with tenebrio molier (32.35 %) and fish meal(32.63 %) (P>0.05).The crude lipid digestibility coefficient in vitro of hermetia illucen larvae(55.56%) were no different with tenebrio molier(57.45%)(P>0.05),but they were significantly lower than fish meal(79.36%)(P<0.05).The crude protein digestibility coefficient in vitro of hermetia illucen larvae(26.08 %) was significantly lower than tenebrio molier(27.95%)and fish meal (32.45%)(P<0.05).In vivo experiment,0.50%chromium sesquioxide as exogenous indicator,the experimental diets consisted of 70% basal diet and 30% test feed ingredient.It also tested the apparent digestibility coefficient of the dry matter,crude protein and crude fat of fish meal and hermetia illucen larvae for mirror carp.The experimental fish,with an average weight of 70.00 ± 1.87g,were randomly fed in recirculating aquaculture system.The fecal samples were collected by siphonage after 1 week.The results showed that the apparent digestibility of the dry matter(61.28%),crude protein(82.53%)and crude lipid(86.02%) of hermetia illucen larvae were lower than fish meal(63.15 %,87.36%,88.31%)(P>0.05),and the apparent digestibility of crude protein was significantly lower than fish meal(P<0.05).Combining the results of in vitro and in vivo experiments,it is concluded that hermetia illucen larvae was the high quality protein source for carp,and can be used to partly replace fish meal in the actual production.It is found that there was a good digestion of hermetia illucen larvae for carp,although its digestibility was lower than fish meal.Therefore,it is feasible to use hermetia illucen larvae as feed ingredients for carp.关键词
