Abstract

In order to solve the problems that gas emission quantity is large in fully mechanized caving coal face during extraction stage,and gas extraction caused air leakage which increases the risk of spontaneous combustion in goaf,this paper studied the comprehensive control of spontaneous combustion and gas drainage at working face 5-2S in Hongmiao coal mine by adopting the method of in-situ monitoring combined with numerical simulation.COMSOL software was used to study the influence laws of different extraction amount and different extraction location for oxidation zone.The results show that the change laws of numerical simulation for spontaneous combustion “three zones” in goaf are consistent with in-situ monitoring data.Gas extraction quantity and extraction location are positively correlated with spontaneous combustion risk in goaf.The advancing speed of working face 5-2S increases from 3rn/d to 3.28m/d,and the limit gas extraction quantity increases from 31.71m3/h to 120 m3/h.The position with 10~20m from breaker line of working face is the best extraction position in goaf.
