Abstract
In order to solve the problems of low efficiency and high noise level of a vertical double-stage self-priming pump, the new volute chamber and annular sealing of impeller are presented on basis of the traditional self-priming pump under the premise of ensuring the self-priming performance. The internal flow field of the tradition self-priming pump and a novel structure were numerically simulated using the CFD tool, the internal flow structure and performance were analyzed. The matching structures between the volute and the liquid storage chamber were optimized , and the pump performance under annular sealing with different shapes and sizes was also analyzed. The numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results, the results show that the L type annular sealing, compared to the traditional annular sealing structure, improved the volume efficiency of the self-priming pump obviously; New volute chamber and liquid storage chamber are better matched to reduce the hydraulic loss and improve efficiency and stability of the double-stage self-priming pump.关键词
