Abstract
In order to investigate the stabilizing effect of circumferential groove casing treatment with combined scheme of different groove depth at the meridian plane of a compressor,four schemes of casing treatment was designed with combined circumferential grooves of different depths for the transonic rotor cascade of rotor 37.The investigation of numerical simulation has revealed that at the design rotational speed,the stall margin of the rotor with circumferential groove casing treatment can be increased to a certain extent.The stall margin of the optimum scheme was increased from 9.65% to 16.42% with only 0.87%efficiency reduction.Furthermore,the installation of the shallow circumferential grooves at the rear of the blade chord length can improve the stall margin even better.关键词
